Fahad Omar received his undergraduate education from the University of Michigan where he graduated top of his class. He achieved his doctor of medicine degree from Ross University in Roseau, Dominica and trained at the Detroit Medical Center during his residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Omar continued his education with fellowship training in sleep medicine at Rush University in Chicago, IL and Pulmonology/Critical Care training at the University of Missouri, respectively.

Education . Training

Dr. Asad Omar received his undergraduate education from the University of Michigan where he graduated with an honors degree in political science and biology. Dr. Omar achieved his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University, School of Medicine in the Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Providence Hospital, one of southeast Michigan’s best community hospitals. In addition to his residency training, Dr. Omar continued his medical education at Providence Hospital with a fellowship in Pulmonology and Critical Care, perfecting intensivist procedures like administering internal jugular central lines, radial and femoral central lines, Thoracentesis, endotracheal intubations, pulmonary bronchoscopies and endobronchial ultrasounds (EBUS).
